Just a quick update…

I’ve been here a week now and getting used to the desert like temps again.

New job location is pretty nice. Smaller than my last store, but still liking it.

Hoping to get a second job very soon as I’m now a rent payer. :)

Roomie and I are getting used to living together. Luckily, we are BFFs.

I thought I would be constantly homesick and crying because I had never lived away from home before, but I’m enjoying it! Sure I miss home and my mom and all, but I’ve been looking forward to this for a good while. And I didn’t really trust anyone before to be their roommate. The holidays are going to be very different this year but it’ll be an interesting experience.

Tomorrow, October 4, I mark a new chapter in my life. Leaving home for the first time. I will be moving to Sun City with my best friend. It’s the start of many new adventures and life experiences, but I am very excited nonetheless.

sanahgohar:

This is what I love about Winter. You wake up in the middle of the night, maybe just to pee or get water or something, look out the window and see this. It’s so beautiful. And it’s silent; you have no idea that it’s happening until you just look. It almost seems fake. And it makes your bed seem way more comfortable, for whatever reason.

And you can smell the snow and it kind of makes you feel good inside.
